Lehigh Safety Shoe Co. has been providing protective toe safety shoes since the early 1920’s initially under the name of Lehigh Rubber and Leather Company.

One of the sturdiest Lehigh shoes has been Lehigh 6” Work Boot stock # 4672.  It has an extremely rugged rubber outsole that has excellent heat and chip resistance.

Its outsole also has a right angled heel breast that can be an asset for those working in railroad or other rung climbing related work environments.

In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, the Lehigh stock # 4672 work boot also complies with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.
